👟 First Walking Gerber Sneakers for Toddlers Review

Bottom of shoe lacks traction. My boy glided through the deciduous trees while learning to walk. We returned them two minutes later while he was wearing them.

The shoes are fine, fit as expected and serve their purpose. However, I did not receive the color I ordered which would have been more free for most of my toddlers clothes.

They fit my little one perfectly. They are very light and comfortable to wear. I find them easy to put on and take off. I liked them so much I almost immediately bought a second pair.

Levi was wearing a size 6T when they arrived (Revane took some time to get them here) and they fit well despite his wide foot. He outgrew them in one big growth spurt in about a month and a half. His grandma is about to do it in those bronze boots that were used to make his father's first pair of shoes. It's weird but I like it. They're cute, velcro is great, but wear socks or they'll leave red stains later.

I like the look of these sneakers. However, they're a little clunky and don't work well on hardwood floors or smooth surfaces. The bottom of the shoe is slippery and the grip is not very good. I wouldn't say these are great shoes for early walkers - maybe after a few months of running when they finally get a little more robust.

I'm a little confused by all the posts in the reviews! But my 1 year old runs like a champion! I ordered him a size 4 wide shoe I think! But they are very pretty and athletic. I will buy him more when he grows up and my son is such a wild kid lol so can't complain
