Description of π¨ High-Quality German Chasing Hammer Millimeter HAM 162 00
Great for striking chasing tools or flattening. Stainless steel, case hardened head with a hardwood handle. 32 millimeters (1-1/4 inch) face diameter. Head of the hammer weighs 6 ounces. Pein is slanted for better ergonomics when striking.
Very cheap to say the least. Two hits and my hammer head broke and flew off. The head is good for this type of hammer , but the handle is wood, no bigger than a pencil Too weak for the job it's trying to do.
I'm changing my original review - I've had this about 6 months and the head is loose and the shiny chrome finish is peeling. I need to replace it :( I don't even use it that often!
