WHAT IS A BINARY WATCH? A binary clock displays the time in the language of computers, the binary system. It contains only ones and zeros, but you can easily transform it to our normal numeral system. HOW DO YOU READ THE WATCH? The top-row shows the current hour. The LEDs represent 8, 4, 2 and 1. The bottom-row displays the current minute and the LEDs represent 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1. Just add up the glowing numbers and you are done!. ABOUT THE WATCH - To save energy, the LEDs only glow after you've pressed the button at the side. The plastic wristband is adjustable between 5.5 inches and 8.2 inches. The watch needs a CR2032 battery, which is included and can easily be exchanged. A must for ALL nerds!

It's so boring! Absolutely fantastic! I love watching my husband explain to people what it is and how it tells the time. Gives him a big smile and a dose of self-esteem. What we all know, the nerds want. It's also a great conversation starter. Here, too, the botanists need something. Even buy one for your nerd kid, see (pun intended) how smart/proud they feel. melts my heart

Looks good but is a bit difficult to read

I like the face design of this watch. Especially the fact that none of the lights are marked. Unlike other binary clocks, this one assumes you can read binary numbers. The only thing I don't like about this watch is that the time isn't always displayed. You have to press one of the buttons and the time will be displayed for about five seconds. So if you're not very good with binary numbers, the indicator will light up while reading and you'll have to press the button again.

Great fun is best wristwatches

Well, who needs more watches, what about cell phones and so on. But it's just fun. I was able to set the clock in about ten minutes. It is currently about 20 seconds slower and I will "tune" it again. The rest of the watch appears to be fairly accurate. I'm honestly very satisfied. I will wear it as my main jewelry on my wrist. I am beautiful. Everyone said I would like to see V2. Maybe a bit more for visual impact. Maybe some interchangeable bracelets? Overall I would say this is one of theโ€ฆ

Not what I was expecting but still a cool gift for a mathematician or computer geek

I got this for my computer geek son and he didn't seem very happy at first because he said it isn't exactly binary like he thinks of binary (he's 15) but after reading the instructions on how to decode it to find out the time he really likes it and thinks it's "really cool". To be fair, I barely read the description when I bought it because if I had, I might have noticed that it's not "binary" as expected, but it turned out great. He's happy, so I'm happy.

Great styling, poor workmanship

Love the simplicity of this clock and the fact that it has no (decimal) digits. The main problem I had was the poor assembly of the clock. It was shipped to me with the display flipped so some of the digital LEDs were dimmed (there were 6 holes at the top and 4 at the bottom instead of the other way around). When I removed the display to change its orientation, I found that the clock actually has 5 LEDs at the top and 7 at the bottom. An additional LED signals that you are editing hours orโ€ฆ

Not bad but not what I wanted.

I was very excited when I first ordered this because I currently have a binary clock that displays numbers as well as indicator lights where you just add values next to the displays as they light up. However, I wanted something fancier that showed the placement of the numbers represented only by the lights. The one I had also displays the date and when I ordered this latest watch I wrongly assumed that all binary watches did the same thing. To my disappointment, this all shows time. Also, it'sโ€ฆ
