A little disappointed in black.

I used to have a pair of flight gloves that were quite worn and I was very happy with them. When I was looking for a replacement I figured it would be the same. I was wrong, the black gloves, although the same size, didn't fit the same. Therefore, the thumb of the glove very often gets caught in things due to its non-standard design. At the same time I ordered a pair of sand colored gloves (same size) and they were designed correctly and fitted well. However, the best shooting and all-around…

the stitching looks really good

I've only worn them once and they seem to be a solid product. I will update this review as I continue to wear these gloves. I measured my hand at 9 inches and ordered 9. They fit great. 2-8-16 - Toes fit well but thumb is a little roomy but I think it's designed that way. These gloves are flight gloves which I think are mainly for gripping the controls. The extra length of the thumb means it won't be compressed when you're holding on to something. Also, the skin on the thumb is on the inside…

Pros
  • Safety work gloves
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Not for warmth but great for fine work

I have been wearing gloves when training and working as a helicopter pilot for several years and these gloves are the 5th pair I have owned in 10 years. + years flies. First, they are not designed to keep hands warm. They offer a little warmth, but not enough to be really useful outdoors. Second, they are not built to last. The palms and fingers are made of very thin lambskin, the lining is made of fine Nomex fabric. If you want to use them to stretch barbed wire or work with wood shavings…

Pros
  • Tools and household items
Cons
  • No power
