At first glance this appears to be a great monitor with great features for the price. However, one issue that really annoys me is ghosting/smearing. This monitor looks like it should cost a lot more than it actually is, and it's very responsive for both gaming and IT remote work tasks (remote desktop connections have never looked so sharp!) . What I love about this monitor is that it's the perfect price point for a 1440p monitor with these specs. The only downside I could find with this monitor, if there is one, is the design if you care. What if you're planning a setup like what this monitor was designed for, you probably don't care. The monitor has excellent picture quality and the curve is spot on. I really wish the stand itself had a bit more movement, but again, this is a budget monitor. All in all a great job by Gigabyte.

The reason it doesn't get a 5 is the auto-brightness feature that comes out of the box. This cannot be changed until you download the latest monitor driver from Gigabyte's website, after which it will fix itself. G-Sync works too, but as I said, mine had to be updated beforehand. For the price I think this is an amazing monitor but Gigabyte has already made a better monitor that now runs at 170Hz and the same for better picture quality. So go check it out instead of that old model.

I don't know what the problem is, but it worked for a few minutes. I was able to check the nvdia control panel and display settings but nothing. The monitor turned off and would not turn on. I unplugged the power cord and plugged it into a different outlet. Nothing worked so I had to send it back.

We installed when our gaming table was here and we noticed something weird on the screen, after plugging it in we realized the screen was already cracked! God, luckily we still have the box. ABSOLUTELY RETURNS!

I like the size and VA but ms seems much slower than 1ms. When playing in native mode I get quite a lot of ghosting and green trails and had to drop 165Hz to 144 and tweak the speed setting against the balance. It takes forever to fine-tune the colors, it's a very dark starting setting, perhaps a strong OC for what the panel actually supports.

This is a phenomenal gaming monitor. The picture quality is excellent. The refresh rate is pretty fast and I don't see any difference between 165Hz and 280Hz monitors.

It doesn't run at 1440 120fps with the Xbox Series X because it's not a Vesa. 3 months of normal use and failure, I have to pay $100 for shipping because gigabit doesn't cover it, they spent almost a month fixing it, replacing the power board and now the speakers don't work.

THIS MONITOR IS NOT FOR GAMEhdr is not working properly on this monitor and the ghosting is pretty bad. I sent back the first monitor and the second one they sent also has the same problem. So unless I received a defective model twice in the roll, this product is not worth the money

Good value for money really. Picture quality isn't the sharpest for watching videos, but it's great for gaming. Overall value for money 1440p 165hz for the price is amazing. I like the curve too

I was really looking forward to this monitor as it was my first experience at 1440p until I realized that this monitor smudges so much when anything is moving on the screen at medium to high speeds. The colors are fantastic and the screen is super sharp! You may not be bothered by this halo/blur issue, but it's very noticeable to me.

Nice monitor, small for a gaming monitor but a huge improvement over my laptop. Used with a custom PC. So far very satisfied (1 month).
