Board works and is happy

This is an updated review as my previous board had a failed M.2 slot and had to be replaced via Revain which is mine problem solved. Arrived at my place the next day. I learned this the hard way on a board that was sent to me. If you want to use M.2 slots, make sure your storage partitions are in GPT format and not MBR format. Search Google "How do I convert MBR to GPT using Windows command line" and "How do I find the MBR partition on my drives" if you are unsure of the format of your…

Pros
  • Supports 10th Gen Intel Core processors
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Good quality board. Accelerates well.

I liked the RGB lighting and good performance. I liked the features and technical aspects of the BIOS. I was able to set up an i3-10100 with this thing and overclocked the RAM to 4166MHz and got the best result for that processor. I've seen tests on TimeSpy and still the best with 5296

Pros
  • Direct 12-phase digital VRM with 50A smart power supply
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

My second gigabyte motherboard

I bought an i9-10900k upgrade board. The only issue I had was the M2 heatsink screen. I wasn't sure if I should remove the plastic strip on it or not and the manual didn't mention the plastic strip. I saw on a few computer forums that others had the same question. The plastic stick is removed. Also, I'm happy with the mobo.

Pros
  • Smart Fan 5 hybrid fan headers with smart fan functions (fan stop, PWM control, noise detection)
Cons
  • boring packaging

Bent/broken pins - updated

I upgraded from 6700k to now 10700k while changing the turret body. After all the trouble installing new hardware, I flipped the switch and it didn't work. but the red CPU light on the motherboard was also on. So I swapped the CPU cables, swapped the RAM and tried again with no success. I then took out the processor to make sure it was set up properly (which I did) and put it back in to no avail. Then I had to take everything out and take a good look at the pins and what do you know, curved…

Pros
  • Improved thermal design with optimized surface heatsink
Cons

Like magic! - Computers and accessories

It's pretty obvious that it was new when it came out and it worked great with the 10th gen chip. I had trouble loading it with everything that came with it. I just completely removed the GPU and it started right up. Then just plug in the GPU and it reads well and hasn't had any issues so far. Some have the problem with the power cord. I took mine on my mother's vacation (500 miles). Came home launched like magic.

Pros
  • RGB Fusion 2.0
Cons
  • Neutral

Not sure if this mobo is worth it.

All hardware is installed and working great. Windows 10 downloaded, everything is fine. I loaded the drivers and everything was perfect. The power cord was removed to move the PC from the build area to the desktop. Now Windows won't boot. Uggs No overclocking yet. With Viper memory, i7 chip. windows restarted. The same thing. Restarts normally until the device is powered off. It ended up not even booting the Windows CD. I'm sitting at the Aorus screen right now. I thought it was a bad mobo so I

  • Dual Channel Unbuffered DDR4 Non-ECC 4 DIMMs
Cons

Purchased "new condition " received an open box!

First I received an open box. Quite a shock when I expected and paid for a new item. Luckily there was no damage or missing accessories and the board works fine. I'd happily refund the difference, but Revain CS is practically non-existent. Second, for packaging, they simply put a label on the box. The valve was loose (open box). Luckily nothing fell out in transit and none of the innards or anything was brushed off in transit. I prefer to keep boxes to store all my manuals and computer…

Pros
  • Realtek LAN 2.5GbE. Windows 10 64-bit operating system support
Cons
  • Crumpled box

Great board for enthusiasts at a great price.

GREAT BOARD! No problem, posted the first attempt. Vcore is very stable when LLC is set to Turbo. 10700k @5ghz no problem, x48 ring. The VRM doesn't seem to sweat, rarely reaching 64c. Plenty of USB ports, built in I/O shielding, very happy with the included m.2 heatsinks. The bios layout is good. The included features are great at this price point, and the board is very stable and easy to use, even during memory overclocks. It's easy to add a clear CMOS switch, although I only had to use it…

Pros
  • 2 x M.2 AORUS Thermal Protection
Cons
  • Protection

Faulty Product - Motherboards

Be careful when purchasing - there is a chance your only PCIe x16- slot not working. Arrived dead (all other mobo functions worked fine but PCI x16 could not detect any hardware). A quick google search shows that this is a very common problem with this motherboard. If you're going to buy it again, make sure you test everything thoroughly before activating Windows, otherwise you'll buy it again too.

Pros
  • Rear Panel - 2 x USB 3.2 Gen2(A), 4 x USB 3.2 Gen1(A), 4 x USB 2.0
Cons
  • Minor issues
