Review on 🎮 GIGABYTE Z490 AORUS Elite: High-Performance ATX Gaming Motherboard with Advanced Features by Jacob Sampino

This is an updated review as my previous board had a failed M.2 slot and had to be replaced via Revain which is mine problem solved. Arrived at my place the next day. I learned this the hard way on a board that was sent to me. If you want to use M.2 slots, make sure your storage partitions are in GPT format and not MBR format. Search Google "How do I convert MBR to GPT using Windows command line" and "How do I find the MBR partition on my drives" if you are unsure of the format of your partition. Also, you need to flash the BIOS to the latest version of Q-Flash, otherwise the M.2 boot device will be stuck in the device recovery screen or BSOD with the message "NO BOOT DEVICE DETECTED". Q-Flash this motherboard and confirm your M.2 storage device is GPT partition format, it will boot. I migrated from my previous Gigabyte Z390 board. After overcoming the hurdles of converting my cloned M.2 drives to GPT, Q-Flash BIOS and replacing a previously defective board, I was back in action. I am not deducting a star for these circumstances. The council did well.
