Gillette Probe Replacement Blades

Great product that has been used for years. It may seem like you have to shop online now to get these blades, but they are as authentic as can be. I really hope Gillette keeps these blades longer, for a while it seemed like they would stop making them for a short time but I'm pretty sure there were enough complaints and they started making them again. New style razors suck, I prefer Gillette. sensor as a whole

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • It's driving me insane

If you have facial hair sensor is a pretty good compromise

Tried an old Merkur double ended safety razor, the blades are very cheap and you can get a close shave but it has my skin irritated. Have a goatee so giant 5 blade razors don't suit your hairline at all and are silly expensive. If I were clean shaven I would probably go for 3 blades. But it has a nice profile, thin enough so that it can reproduce details more clearly. The cartridge lasts me two weeks or more as I shave every 2-3 days. difficult to improve.

Pros
  • Not only useful for intended purpose
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Don't buy these blades!

I've been shaving with Gillette razors since the 1970's. I've been using Gillette Sensor or Sensor Excel blades since the 1980's or 90's. These blades used to be very good but the latest pack of replacement blades is so bad THEY DO NOT WORK. The blades aren't sharp at all, they're unevenly machined, and the geometry of the cartridge doesn't come close to what I've been used to for decades. I threw them away. Now I have to wonder if anything sold under the Gillette Sensor or Sensor Excel name is

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • thin

Good blades if you started shaving in the 80's

If you are like me and my wife then many of your purchases will be guided by pairing efficiency. For example, if we have matching Sonicare toothbrushes, we can buy replacement heads in sets of two. Owning identical phones means we can share chargers. Based on this, it makes sense to use the same razor brand. Despite all of Gillette's advertising efforts to convince us otherwise, we decided that the Gillette Sensor Men's Pen would be perfect for my wife's shaving. We were right. It turns out…

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • frequency
