I like this line of razors. As lazy as it sounds, I hate putting on shaving cream. The blade is fresh and I can't even get close to shaving and cutting myself. This is after I've been using Venus daily for a year with no problems. I don't normally even use shaving cream, never get cuts and get a great close shave. That's usually the beauty of those Venus razors with soap around the blade. But this is very different. I don't know if they're fake or what, but they were incredibly disappointing. I'll really just throw the package away if I don't get a refund.

Huge wetting strips make it difficult for the razor to stick to the skin, making it difficult to shave large areas of skin like legs. In smaller and less shallow areas, it is easy to shave off large patches of skin. I've had less severe cuts with a different type of dull blade with this brand than with a fresh blade of this version. I have been shaving my legs for 25 years and this razor is by far the worst razor I have ever had for cuts and scrapes. It can provide a close shave but after shaving with these blades for a month I have cuts all over and my legs are in various stages of healing. I have been using Venus razors and replacement heads for over a decade. I tried them because they were a good deal at the time I needed them. I wanted to like them but the soap bars/strips fall off in the bath water and I don't like it. Literally the most amazing replacement shaving heads! We used to use very cheap razors but once I tried them I never went back!
