These are my favorite razors and I have sensitive skin. Normally a razor sacrifices smoothness for sensitive skin, but instead of adding a shock skin and/or an extra strip of lube that prevents a very close shave, this razor delivers a very close shave with 5 amazing blades and less irritation with fewer strokes. It does the job like any other razor. Hair sticks to the soapy part of the razor, which is annoying. and you cannot hold the razor face down or the soap will melt on the tub surface. It's no different than any others I've used, I have to shave my whole leg lightly, only shave against the grain which isn't good for the skin. When I shave, only hair remains.

I love this brand! To be honest, I won't buy any other brand! Although Venus is a more expensive product, it saves you more money in the long run because it can be used forever! I usually use the razor for about a year without changing the blade. This is a great product! It's great for sensitive skin and you don't have to press hard for it to work. I usually use a razor when I shower. Such a good product, any body soap will do.

The last thing I want to do is see an overworked Walmart employee to ask them to unlock the razor section so I can get a razor. I'm very introverted and the thought of even walking up to a stranger and asking them to do this chore fills my body with anxiety and my stomach starts to ache. So it's a MUCH better alternative. It's the same razor, maybe even cheaper here, and I don't puke if I ask someone to get it for me.

I've had Venus for a few years now. The handle on the left in the photo is my old one. The right one is the one I recently received from Revane. And I had to buy a new one because when I wanted to replace the old razor with a new one on my old Venus handle I accidentally broke the lock so unfortunately I couldn't put the new razor in and had to handle a new one. I bought this brand years ago but replacement blades are a thing of the past as they give a good shave. However, I have a few questions: 1. This specimen is not as well made as the old Venus models. They were sturdy and felt good in your hands as long as you held and shaved them. You have a cheap feeling of light.2. I'm not a fan of soap/moisturizer whatever the blades are. I love Venus Embrace! They make my legs soft and smooth and don't irritate my skin like other razors do. I like other Venus razors and cartridges but the ones with added gel and other stuff don't last as long. These cartridges last a month, they don't irritate the skin and sometimes I just use them with shower gel.
