Very good product: Motors and parts

We have bought several of these for our shop. They work as intended. Put it in the freezer for 30 minutes before installing! It shrinks a little, making installation easier.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Sealed, unlubricated

Has lubrication holes but clearly sealed bearings. The pictures are misleading and I also had metal shavings in said "lube hole" as part of the production so be aware.

Pros
  • Best of its kind
Cons
  • Very expensive

Unused item for Motorkit products

Do not buy this stock! Machine work is terrible and there is no quality control. Metal chips were found in the lubrication channel and the bore does not match the bearing! This is definitely an example that you get what you pay for. You think I know better than I do now

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons

Grease Free - Engines and Engine Parts

This is a non-lubricated version. The outer ring has a hole to align with the oil gallery in the body, but it goes nowhere. I put it in my bearing seal and squeezed grease through before installing (there wasn't much grease in it, if any). Haven't steered a boat yet (fingers crossed).

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • So far so good

would not fit my omc cobra 1989. apparently too.

that didn't fit my 1989 omc cobra. apparently too big couldn't fit all the way back. I had to reset the old one. Also, both race sizes were slightly narrower in width from front to back. no numbers or marks of any kind for cross-matching. The ad says it will fit all OMC Cobras, but that's not certain.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

DO NOT BUY I WILL RETURN MY

This is a poor quality product, the housing that houses the bearing has not been properly machined. The lubricating groove does not line up with the lubricating hole. Without pairing, you cannot lubricate the bearing. This means you will have to replace it again in a year or less. DO NOT BUY I WILL REFUND MINE In the picture you can see the problem

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Empty

Poor quality in engines and engine parts

DO NOT BUY! This is a sealed unit, not a lubricated bearing. In addition, the handling is abysmal. Tried a test fit on the driveshaft prior to installation and did not slip off the driveshaft. I thought love would continue, so I laid camp. Outdrive didn't fit back. The overall diameter of the propeller shaft is too small for the propeller shaft to pass through. I bought an OEM Quicksilver bearing and everything fits perfectly. In short, buy OEM.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • quality
