🚴 Giro Caden Urban Cycling Helmet for Adults Review

If you crash your bike (like Richard Branson does when I hit a speed bump too fast) your helmet can break and you'll need a replacement. I bought the same model, this time in beautiful blue. Some people look for lots of vents; I am looking for robust and mips. Without being too sweaty, this helmet was great in Southern California (5-15 miles in 65-90). Always wear a helmet!

Giro plays an important role in helmet safety/protection, so you can expect quality. This particular model doesn't disappoint - comfortable fit, advanced technology (MIPS, ventilation) and I personally love the color. Four stars because the chin straps often need to be adjusted. They don't seem to hold firmly under the chin without frequent movements. I think I am, but I think the setting should be like a bracelet or watch strap. Set and forget.

After years of service at Bell decided to buy a new helmet. Found this helmet that offered the same urban look. I didn't realize how different the fit is. This helmet feels good. Comfort, style and protection! The helmet was great from the start. In the middle of my trip I didn't even know I had it on! The coverage was certainly extensive! Just don't like it, there's some room behind the ears, but the MIPS system doesn't seem to be affected. There's no hesitation, but I'm not sure how the shock

I did receive a nice Giro helmet but by staying up to date with the product and researching before buying I have already set my expectations where they should have been. What I received was below expectations. The reason is; This product was advertised with MIPS (Multiple Impact Protection System) both in the product image and in the product description. What I got was a watered down version with no MIPS and a fixed strap/helmet attachment option (watch the MIPS YouTube video to understand)…
