The game. Changer: Oral Care

I recently got braces and the first day my cheek was a little sore but when I woke up the next morning my mouth was in terrible shape. My podiatrist cut the wire as short as he could, but it was still stuck to my cheek. Luckily I had some of the new toothwax from the new patient kit the podiatrist gave me, but it only lasted a few hours and barely stayed in place. After reading about Gishy Goo online I realized I had nothing to lose. Now that I've used it I'm so glad I got it early. It covers…

Lots more pros than cons

I had braces as a teenager and am now wearing them again as an adult. I'm so thankful this has been invented in the meantime, it was a game changer! It's incredibly easy to blend and apply to wire and I love that it's long lasting. I can spend the whole day with him, including eating and drinking. The taste is also pleasant. The only complaint about the color is BRIGHT white. One time I had to put it on my front teeth and hit the street without forgetting it was on. Shudder! I also wish it…

Works well, helps a little

Using this product requires trial and error in my opinion. I ordered this (with delivery one day over the weekend) when my child got a bad spot from braces. You need to mix a very small amount of the product between your fingers and wait, give or take, about 20-30 seconds for it to reach the right consistency so that it really sticks properly to the area you want to cover. We made it after several attempts. Less is better. It doesn't seem like a lot of product but since you only have to use a…

Read and follow the instructions. That works great!

I had to install TADs which are basically screws embedded in the gum line. The wax was very difficult to keep on the TAD which is on the inside side of the tongue. It was very difficult to eat or drink anything. I'm so glad I found this! Here's what you need to do to make it work for you. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! The area to be covered must be dry. I use a cotton pad, which is typically used to remove eye makeup, and pat the TAD dry. It is important. I apply a little to my clean palm and then…

It's hard to work. Burns, falls off, looks bad.

Holder must be dry. Not like a dry touch with a cotton swab, but more like a dry gauze roll. They do one bracket at a time. Squeeze out just enough for a clip, then roll and pinch with your fingers until it starts to thicken. Then work fast because while it takes 60 seconds to reach a usable consistency, it takes three seconds to go beyond that and turn into a hard rubber ball. If you try to use it before it gets thick it won't stick or it just pushes into the mount so the pointed parts stick…
