Plugs are cheap plastic. If, like me, you bought the Cube system from a large membership store, these connectors will not work. I returned it.

It was awful but my fingers tried installing with wire cubes which I also bought from Amazon. It is very difficult to go through the ridges. I mean IF you can put it in, it's definitely strong and won't come out, but it's just too hard to put in.

It seems that the plastic joints can easily break if you put too much weight on this type of shelf. Not a serious problem, but it does happen. Being able to have spare plastic connectors on hand works well. The cost of having them on hand is minimal for moments like this.

I have found that they are actually better than the ones that came with my Megfuture vault and also work with the Tangkula system which I have split into 4 different configurations. It is highly recommended that you purchase these when purchasing a cubic memory system in case you break the one that came with the memory module or if you are configuring it other than a single module system.
