I had to buy a replacement remote for my Sharp. It's almost the same as the one that came with the TV. They are both fragile and brittle. It's time to look for a more reliable solution.

When I took the remote control out of the packaging, the button fell off. After about a minute of trying to sync the remote to the TV, another button fell off. You can glue them back easily, but only cheaply

Go to the end. Squeeze the small tab and slide it toward the center while simultaneously pulling up. This will loosen and pull out the insert. Use CR2032 and BAM! Mine worked automatically on multiple TVs with no programming.

Remote control works great as described. The only problem is that it's just as weak as the original that came with my TV. Buttons fall off easily, especially for toddlers who like to check button integrity by plucking. Once the baby is done with this step I will repeat the order.

My original remote stopped working so I ordered OEM at a very good price. It came in two days, I put the battery in and it worked just as well as the old one. I was wondering if it could cure my old remote as well and it helped, the old one worked too. But I kept a new one and use it and have no problem I would order again!
