First, does it work well? Yes. This is a quality, reputable product that lives up to its advertising. I mainly use night care oils and in the morning my beard is still soft and supple - a sign of a good oil. It also lasts quite a long time, which meets my basic needs. The aroma is excellent. Conquer and Icon smell amazing! Icon to me is very clean and a bit musky, it reminds me of a timeless classic barber/blue collar scent mixed with a nice clean scent. Conquer may be my favorite scent, but I always vacillate. To me, Conquer has a nice citrusy and clean smell, but it's not too strong to make me nauseous. I've been using Icon oil and balm for a few months now, love both so had to try the oil. The smell (excellent btw) of the oil matched the oil and balm. For me this isn't necessary as I usually use the oil alone, but it's still good if you use it in combination. It's churned butter. It melts easily (no lumps) and moisturizes my beard beautifully. It seems to soften my beard and moisturize my skin but I didn't really like the smell as I found it too sweet - a bit like icing. Maybe some manly cake frosting? I think if you met Pillsbury Doughboy in a nightclub, he would shake his belly on the dance floor and rock this scent. What can I say? This is a great product from great people. I've been using Gladiator products for quite some time and they've always treated my beard well. I use different beard oils. I use Honest Amish, Detroit Grooming, Grave before Shave and Gladiator. And all of these products are great. But Gladiator is by far the best. All natural, smells good, works great and the price is good. With all the oils I use, I've always made sure I don't run out of Gladiator. Just my honest opinion here.
