Difficult to crimp Terminals

Difficult to crimp, if not soldered after crimping they will fall off. I had to cut the rubber on one side to make it semi waterproof. The crimp tabs are straight and difficult to bend for a semi-rigid crimp. Good in a pinch, but not suitable for tight spaces like under the dash.

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Difficult to see

Plug good - sleeve bad

The plugs themselves are decently made and crimp quite easily, but the sleeve is scrap. It slips up and doesn't shrink, so it's difficult to keep it in place. In general, for such money is average, but I resorted to electrical tape for insulation.

Pros
  • Very good price-performance ratio
Cons
  • interval

These things are worse than useless

I don't understand how they get good reviews. The metal they are made of has a spring. If you put them in a male, they seem to stick, but with the slightest movement, even a slight one, they fall off. I had to solder them in place which is what I bought to avoid. Don't buy this.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Bad experience

The specifications are wrong and are not shown on the packaging

The specification of the medium-sized connector is wrong. The AWG specification is known as "4.8. (AWG 18-14)" although it really should be AWG 22-16 to fit the smallest connector when crimping as they are the same. This is clearly visible to the eye. I am of course inferring this assuming that one of the specs is correct. There are no specs in the kit at all. Next time I'll take a different set.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Compatibility

Great find! - Wiring and Connection

For smaller wires such as B. 22-26 AWG, it is not often necessary to press the terminal with a shovel. Very few potential hardware vendors have such small terminals. I say little, but none of the ones I found were actually in stock. Catalogs or online inventories might say they are, but check them and you'll get "oh it's out of stock" or "the inventory isn't actually listed online". For real? Then why is it there? The quality here is nothing short of what you would expect. Multiple Choice comes

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • None

This kit offers a variety of connectors at a great price. That's a good feature and why I bought it. However, I've found that you're probably fine with just making male and female connections using only the parts from the kit, but interfacing with existing systems using Panduit, AMP, 3M, or other common spade connectors is usually the stronger Construction issue for me with the parts in this set. The solution is to shape and crimp with needle nose pliers to get a snug fit, which of course takes

Pros
  • Spade Connector
Cons
  • High Price

Extremely weak and brittle!

I don't normally write reviews but felt it was necessary for this product in the hope that I could save someone time and frustration in the future. I bought these because of the price and the number of connectors that came with it. That should have been my red flag. I hooked up (2) 12 volt batteries for my son's razor bike. The batteries are housed in a metal tray with a metal bracket that locks them in place. After I finished the wiring and heat shrink tubing, 3 of the 4 female quick…

Worked well

I was skeptical given the negative reviews. But for the money, they're hard to beat. There are definitely better connections. With a simple pair of crimps/cutters I was able to make some convincing looking and holding crimps. I've been looking for tutorials on how to crimp a paddle "properly" but haven't found anything helpful on the internet, so I've relied on my mechanical inclinations. first the crimping tabs to the concave side of the crimping tool; as parallel as possible to the tool…
