This is what you are looking for!

After looking for quality glass beads to make a weighted blanket for my special needs son, I came across them at Revain. They were absolutely perfect and exactly what I was looking for. The price was by far the cheapest of any place I looked. The packaging was great and it's easy to close which we didn't use. I plan on making a few more and will definitely buy these again.

Pros
  • Round Glass Micro Beads: Made in the USA, permanently smooth and round
Cons
  • Only available in black

I'm so glad I switched from plastic beads to these. They cost more, but you use a lot less. It only takes about 3 tablespoons to weigh a sitting doll. This will take forever. I would have ordered less if I had known that. They do not look like sand, are rounded and do not leave visible dimples on the fabric. It is easy to insert a needle into them. Very good product.

Pros
  • Easy Sewing: Smooth little round glass beads means less needle breakage
Cons
  • High price

The best choice for stuffing weighted blankets!

This was my first attempt at making a weighted blanket and I am so happy I used glass beads. They don't make big, bulging pockets. Also, because of their weight, they fall to the bottom of the duvet channel very easily. For those who are afraid of possible emissions from pellets, glass beads are not a problem. Because glass weighs a lot more than pellets, it takes a lot less to fill each pocket. You just have to make sure you sew with lots of stitches per inch so the glass beads can't go…

Pros
  • Double Density Plastic Beads: 1 cup = approximately 14 ounces
Cons
  • Crumpled
