The metal tab where it hooks for cutting is recessed so you can hardly get thread underneath. Not up to the standard of the previous Glide floss I have previously purchased.

You must be REALLY old. I tried using them (on the fourth set) and each of them broke and/or twisted the cord unevenly and got stuck in it, so I threw away 4 of them. Not sure if the others are any good.

I used to use Listerine Johnson and J woven yarn until I tried this one. Unfortunately, it's expensive because they only come in small packs (sample size) with a small amount of thread. But it works, and flossing is important.
