The carburettor worked without any adjustments except the throttle cable screw. I removed the star because the clamps that came with it are rubbish. One of them grabbed a hose during a test drive and cut a hole in the fuel line. Fuel was leaking everywhere. I liked that it came with a new fuel filter and the electric choke already bolted on.

what i can't say about this bunch of crap the first day i got the thing i was spewing gas out of the intake it took weeks of adjustment the coke dose didn't work only after 1 week of use, the membrane was weaker than Krillin from Dragon Ball Z. radical can be. This carb is literally good for nothing, I think it's worse than the standard carb that was on it. Is it that bad if you want good carbs? I would highly recommend Mikuni from Go Power Sports

CANNOT BE RETROFITTED! So the first carburetor I got was ripped off by the bolt heads to the float bowl and I didn't even try, I demanded a replacement. and when i got the 2nd where i could actually access it the main jet threads are fewer than any main jet i can find so i will both ship junk carbs and order kehin which i had to do in the 1st place, as I am putting on a 100 bbk and I need an upgraded carburetor main and pilot jet. This carburetor is of good quality. But getting it to idle properly is impossible. I did the right idle. And it still wobbles on startup and hangs every 10-15 minutes. But today I adjusted my air mixture again, it works a little better. Maybe I need to buy better jets than high quality jets to make them work well, or check the float bowl to make sure it's working properly, or maybe I need valve adjustment. Carburetor just fitted with no problems. After draining the fuel, it started immediately. Only the expected idle has to be set. A slight improvement in acceleration, but a much better improvement in midrange reproduction. Don't expect big changes in top speed, just getting there a little faster. I would replace the stock air filter for better airflow. Also for a little more you can get a performance coil, wire and spark plug kit with unlimited cdi. I just assembled a Chinese Tao Tao Scooter that I bought on Craigslist. The engine ran, but the revs went up and down if I just let it idle. I replaced another aftermarket carburetor on my Tao Tao Big Bore Kit. I tried loosening the bottom bolts to check the injectors but they were tight as hell. I didn't want to take them off. My scooter wouldn't start on carbs. I just got back from a trip with an old carburetor so I knew it was getting fuel.
