The bottles in mine are dry rotten so to speak. When I tried to squeeze the gel out, all the sides separated and the gel spilled out. However, I didn't notice any difference on my teeth at all, I sent it back and ordered it from the actual manufacturer of the product (same price) and noticed a big difference in the color of my teeth. I think the bottles were very old and expired. Something was definitely wrong. I'm just sharing my experience.

There are so many options from charcoal to strips but this is finally a product that is simple, easy to use and works twice as fast as any other product I have used. I learned a long time ago that paying for a quality product that lasts six years is better than six mediocre products that last a year. I received this product recently, I have very sensitive gums but I have read that the gel in this kit was good and not painful. I don't feel any discomfort. I have done 2 treatments and so far so good. I will buy gels separately. It's also a cheaper alternative to going to the dentist. I went to the dentist about 2 years ago and the gel was strong and I couldn't finish the treatment time. This gel is much softer and I have no tooth sensitivity after using it.

Review Updated: 03/01/2020 I downgraded my previous 5 star rating to 3 stars as I am very annoyed that the glow power supply does not last longer than charge for a few days, and you can't use the whitening mouthpiece while the power bank is charging. I'm still sticking with my original rating below because it whitens teeth well, but not without some major annoying inconveniences.
