2 lamps installed via reading plug. I used amber glass bulbs for a softer light. White is a flat or matte texture. The on/off switch is located centrally above the lantern for easy operation. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Nice light but functionality under the base. I use this on a Stratto pedicure station in my salon and the arm wiggles and loosens every time it's pushed back against the wall from the rest area. I like the style, but I'm not sure I would order it again.

I bought 2 packs of this lamp at the end of May, at the end of November one works fine and the other doesn't work unless I manually hold the bulb in place. I contacted support only to get an "Sorry for your luck" response. No help solving my problem. I suspect they expect their products to stop working in 6 months. I will never buy Globe products again!

I really wanted to like it so much that when the first one arrived with a defective part I asked for another one instead of a refund. The second showed that the real problem was the poor workmanship and unfortunately it doesn't get better if I order 100 more pieces. I understand the price was low so my expectations were the same but in the end poor quality wasn't good enough.

I am sending it back. Badly designed. There is a great wall mount, but then the whole mount attaches to the wall mount from the sides with a tiny screw on each side. The cable to the light itself is inside the "adjustable" part and barely fits in there properly. You must position the lamp and tighten the screw, making sure the tiny prongs line up or it will slide down. The arm swings back and forth but does not rotate, the light is only directed downwards or forwards.

Disappointed with the reviews on this lamp. If you want to keep it despite the quality issues, fine, but don't give it 4/5 stars. It's complete rubbish. It had scratches I could live with but this is worse. The back, which hangs on the wall with screws, is loose and poorly attached to the frame, so it hangs down. What I also didn't like is that you have to use a screwdriver to tighten the lever when turning it. There are much better solutions for the same price. This is not a business.

DO NOT BUY. These sconces are terribly constructed. The first thing we discovered is that the dome is too heavy when installing and the top of the hinge won't stay in. The plate on the back wall is also mounted upside down. The second one we opened up at least supports the dome, but the bottom screw comes loose when you twist the lever back and forth. We don't even bother to discover a third one. Of course we ordered and left in the box until ready to ship and missed the return window.

Can't speak to the ease of hardwiring this light as I only use the plug version. This light looks beautiful and I appreciate that the dome completely covers the bulb. The cord is a white fabric that is much more attractive than plastic. My only minor complaint is that the white trim screws that attach the top panel to the back are misaligned.
