I should have read the reviews. Based on the product photos (and the fact that this was one of the results when I searched "2 pin to 3 pin power adapter") I was expecting to get a 2 pin plug with a 3 pin socket. NO. 3 pins on male and female. It doesn't help me at all, and I've ordered 8 of these. :(They are beautiful and seem to be well constructed. To me they are just useless.

I like this because it's a bit more compact than a full size tape. Functional without question. Looks good. The cable is attached to a flat plug in a fixed place, as shown in the picture. The cable is covered in a fabric sheath that's smooth and shiny, but soft and looks a little less industrial than the standard cable. One thing that would be nice is the way it mounts - there's nothing on the back. Double-sided tape works, although not for as long.

It's amazing how a simple power strip can be so poorly designed. The photo only shows the first major problem: the oddly shaped plug makes the cable stick out to the left when you plug it in, and if you try to route the cable to the right it gets ugly and uncomfortable. And believe me, that bolt-on fork just doesn't fit anywhere. This product has a quality cable but it is flatter than most making it perfect for my needs of storing my widescreen TV in an enclosed cabinet. CONS: It's pretty basic. If you only have 3 plugs. Share them! A LITTLE! I hate those adapters that only fit nice narrow plugs. Folks, there is so much room and space in these things.
