People complain that it's ugly or that the grip is weak. It looks just like the pictures and isn't ugly, it's just a standard suitcase with a lock, key and handle. As for the pen, why would you want to be walking around with 8 hard drives? It's not meant to be carried around like a suitcase, but for storage, and it does that very well.

The case is very light, the material feels like plastic as it can bend under strong pressure. Everything is fine with the protection inside, there is enough space between the hard drives. Not sure about moisture/water resistance as I don't see any sealing around the edges but time will tell. Although I keep my HDs in a very dry place. Overall, this is a regular HD storage enclosure. Unbeatable price! I plan to fill it up and use it for storage and only move it occasionally. It's certainly better than using the thick bubble wrap hard drives that often come with it, which I was doing until this case arrived. Hard drive enclosures designed for single drives were less bulky but too expensive for single drives. For me, this case is an excellent alternative. OK. Based on some other reviews on this product I might not have bought it. But when I received it, I found that it fully met **MY** needs. NO, I wouldn't use it to carry a group of discs as luggage on an airplane, but I would have no problem packing it in the trunk of my car to carry the discs that way. But it's a lot better than the box I used to keep my spare discs in. What I've found is that I'll probably have to buy another one in the not too distant future.
