good accuracy of sensor questionable

good with 185 temp thermsoat not sure how the sensor can read 178 when the sock sensor reads 194 via the scan tool and pcm recorder! Measure sensor at the same point. m Glow Shift does not create a calibration curve for sensors, so I'm not sure if I trust the sensor. see Kolbach's comment below.

Pros
  • decent performance
Cons
  • many things

Good product, well finished.

I have been using this product for about a month and I am satisfied with my purchase. I use a dual GlowShift temperature sensor to measure the oil and gearbox temperatures in my Toyota 4x4 truck. I particularly like the robust, one-piece design of the temperature sensors. In my case, if the sensor comes loose, it will result in a complete loss of oil.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Empty

Super sick, in the garage.

So I added this to have a more accurate oil and coolant temp gauge on my weekend car I'm building. I installed it in winter, the order caught fire, everything seems to work. Started the car for the first time about a week ago and the sensor worked fine, gave the car about 5 cycles (engine starts and then off again) and now the sensor went black before I even got behind the wheel. I know my power and ground are fine because I have two other sensors using the same sources that still work fine…

The sensor failed after 2 years 4 months.

The device was purchased on June 11, 2018. The device failed in October 2020. The sensor worked fine while it was working. In October 2020, the block failed. I found a blown 2 amp fuse which I installed in the line to the pressure gauge. I replaced the fuse, disconnected the power plug from the pressure gauge. When I plugged in the sensor (the key is off, so only the DC line was getting power), the component to the right of the power connector glowed bright white, and then the fuse blew again…

  • Satisfied at the moment

  • Almost never

Those who wear polarized sunglasses.

The perfect dual display for my Jeep JK to constantly monitor the coolant and transmission temperatures. I checked the boiling water pressure gauge prior to installation and it showed 210° in boiling water, so a few degrees colder than I thought it should be, but close enough. Well, for my one major complaint, some parts of some numbers on the digital display are hard to read when wearing polarized sunglasses. Some colors are less visible than others, especially reds. This sucks for me because…

Pros
  • OK
Cons
  • I don't like it that much, everything is fine

Great gauge fits parts

I installed one of these gauges on my Honda Civic to monitor engine and transmission oil temperatures. Overall the sensor is of excellent quality, installation was easy and its readings are easy to read. When starting a cold engine, both sensors on this sensor always read within 1 degree of my OEM coolant temp sensor, so that's accurate enough for me. I also love how many color options this meter has. Sensor, I think it should have a built in dimmer like a knob that can be rotated to change the

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
