Buy auto parts at your local store.

As soon as I put it in the car the bearing squeaked. I don't have time to disassemble my mother-in-law's car again to return this broken pump, so I lost a few bucks.

Pros
  • Excellent general characteristics
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Last 10,000km lasts great

Amazing quality pump. Apparently GMB makes OEM pumps for many manufacturers. The last 10,000 km are normal. Including the seal was appreciated.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Just enough

Incorrect part number listed

This water pump is not the one shown. It will not fit the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8. I had to go back and wait another 2 days for the correct pump. This part doesn't fit either, so far I've had no problems getting the wrong parts from a Revain supplier.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Sufficient

Works great and I can say it's durable.

Exactly what I expected. Works great and I can say it's a solid and durable piece. I read how to replace the water pump on my '99 Bonneville car and it said to use RTF silicone for the gasket. I didn't because the paper gasket that came with it was like a thermostat housing gasket. I only overtightened it by 5 pounds. I even bent the pad 45 degrees and it was still tight. I was shocked. would come with an aluminum/silicone gasket like felpro. but high quality for the price paid. very happy with

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Low maintainability
