They're thin enough not to affect the fit of your glasses that much, so don't ruin your progressive lenses. They actually tuned mine to perfection. This has improved the fit of my glasses, but the adhesive used is not of good quality. The silicone material is soft and offers a good grip on my nose. For two weeks after applying the pads, I could detect a slight pungent odor from time to time. Then the smell faded or I acclimated to the point where I didn't notice the smell anymore. Many reviews have cited problems with the adhesive but praised the pads themselves. I am of the opposite opinion. I had the same goggle pads that I wear all the time for 3 weeks. They held firmly in place and I had no other issues with the adhesive. My only negative opinion is that the pads are a bit thicker than the description and the reviews led me to believe.
