Exactly what I was hoping for! After reading many reviews I was still not sure about the capacity but ordered anyway. They arrived today and not only were they prettier than I expected, they were just the right size for small, elegant desserts. (I have larger dessert bowls/glasses but they are TOO big.) pack sizes are misleading. If you read the dimensions it says 7x4x14 --- but there is no mention that those dimensions are for the box that comes with the 8 piece set! Each bowl/small seems to hold maybe 1/8th of a cup. My guess is that the correct dimensions for each bowl are maybe 3 inches in diameter and 2 inches high, with 1 inch being the base. SMALL! ." I bought these bowls for a dinner party next month. I don't expect to use them often, so they'll probably be saved after the party. Although they are very beautiful. Each bowl holds just over 1/2 cup. placed in another Revain box (which was barely sealed with tape!). All bowls arrived whole and undamaged. There are notches on two spoons. One is so serious I think I won't use spoons at all. Too bad, because they are good spoons with a good weight. I do not want my guests to cut their mouths…
