The plug is a bit small. It doesn't fit most bottles exactly and can be pushed through the rubber band with little effort to where the airplane's silver rod fits into the bottle. I would say it's more about looks.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my pilot friend. It's been 6 months and we drink wine regularly. It's still in good condition (we've dropped it a couple of times) and the kickstand rotates, which I think is a nice touch. It has not faded and looks the same as when you bought it.

Nice item, the best I've found in the Aviation collection. The tip that enters the neck of the bottle requires special care and is easily corroded. It is good to cap wine bottles for just a few days. That's a good reason to talk. and coated parts not included in the neck of the bottle belong to the first class. I love this little spinning propeller.

My dad will love it! And the propeller spins! It seems to be of good quality and a good weight. I've tried it on a few bottles and although the cork component can be smaller than others if you don't force it into the bottle, the cork provides an acceptable seal at the last rubber ring. This makes it very easy to use, just don't force it. I would have liked it even more if they built less versatile planes.
