This softbox is very compact when folded and easily attaches to your gear bag or light tripod when you're on the go. By nature, this is an umbrella with a diffuser that closes the hole. Very easy to set up and use, it was up and running in less than a minute out of the box. Ideal for creating soft edges while maintaining light direction in photos. Goodbye!

Very fragile and rather limited to use if you don't have an AC stand as the zip slots allow very little angular flexibility. The thin walled umbrella stem on this thing is very flimsy and didn't even get used to it as it was slightly bent and took no effort to bend back, meaning that in actual use it would be too easy to bend back over and would end up too going to be garbage so I sent it back.

As a professional photographer I have bought all kinds of modifiers, cheap and expensive. I keep using it and thinking "What a benefit!” It folds up nicely, I leave the faceplate attached and just peel it off one side to add my light, cool! Flash use - I wanted to move away from heavy studio flashes in favor of on set flashes. Shoots and this product is perfect for that. Seriously - buy.

We sandbagged our stands to protect them from the wind, especially since these umbrellas are 47 inches in diameter. Two months after owning them, one of our smaller Godox screens broke completely, one of our 47" screen is almost busted and the last 47" screen is starting to bend (the inner shaft that attaches to the stand on all three is). Love how easy it is to open like an umbrella, it opens easily and is best for travel. The material that makes up the umbrella is fairly durable, although the actual diffuser panel on the front detached from the Velcro the first time you put it on. Luckily this didn't affect use at all, I didn't leave a gaping hole and was able to place it at the bottom where I had to get in and out to check the speedometer. I use this regularly with a diffuser to highlight light colored products against a white catalog background. I have 2 of these and am hoping to set them up for portrait work at some point. They offer great soft light when paired with my Godox AD400 Pro and Ad200 Pro lights. It was easy to set up and arrived in good condition.
