Worked great in the conference room

I asked the AV team to run these cables through the ceiling and wall of the conference room for the wall and ceiling TV. I like HDMI over fiber more than Redmere or standard cable as I don't have to worry about timing and fading issues. So far the cables are working great.

It works! Accessories and supplies

I am using this cable (50ft) to transfer 3840 x 2160 from an Nvidia GFX card to a Dell U2718Q with no problems at 60Hz and 10bit color. At first I foolishly tried to do this with a 18Gb/s HDMI cable before realizing I needed the 21.6Gb/s that this cable offers. I had no problems with taking photos or saying goodbye. It runs from my AV closet, through my attic (from normal living room temperatures to freezing cold attic temperatures) and back to the monitor in the kitchen.

Does not transmit 4K signal

I bought a fiber optic cable to connect directly to a new Yamaha TSR-7850 receiver and a new Samsung QLED. It works when sending 1080p content from Tivo Bolt Vox but does not send any signal to Chromecast Ultra. The screen keeps turning on and off when trying to use Chromecast Ultra. I don't know why as there are no crazy bends in the cable and they connect directly to each other. All connections on the AV receiver, as well as on the television, are HDCP 2.2 compliant. I worked with tech…
