It doesn't hold the object you're connecting well.

The product arrived quickly. The cable holes are too big and won't hold the item you want to connect the cable. I used it to connect my brushcutter for outdoor use. Every time I lifted the trimmer in the air, the cord just fell off. This is a major disadvantage of the product.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Updates

Some electrical top marks

Claims to have a flaming end, indicating the power is on. I don't have anything like that. It doesn't glow. Thought it would be helpful as I often pull my plug at the edge of the lawn. Second, the connector itself is larger than most cords, so I can't connect it to a Black & Decker blower. I have to use the smaller cable attached to this thing to use it with some of my devices. Also, it's long and appears to be very durable.

Pros
  • Power Strip: GoGreen Power (GG-13700) is a 16/3 SJTW power strip for contractors.
Cons
  • Incredible Piggy Bank

Great if you're about to burn down your house! 😡

This product was naughty and difficult to use from day one. Cheap cable never wanted to cooperate, lay flat, or unravel. Best of all, this cable almost burned our house down! 😡 I used it to power a dehumidifier after we had some water in our basement and because I had so much extra cord I left the extra one on the spool. The cheap rubber shielding on this cable overheated and MELTED leaving a bare wire and tripping our circuit breaker repeatedly. Run away!

Pros
  • Illuminated Extension Cord: The end of the outdoor extension cord is illuminated to indicate the power is on. The cable is recommended for use with heavy equipment and tools with a maximum current rating of 10 amps and a power rating of 1250 watts.
Cons
  • Not sure

Inexpensive, stay out of the sun

This is a good cable and did what we asked of it. The lighted end is a nice touch and helps answer the question "Is this socket broken or is the cord not working?" that comes up around the yard from time to time. However, after a summer in the Northern California sun, the plastic coating used has severely faded and doesn't seem to be as durable as the new cable I have at home. If you have to leave that cable outside, it might not work for you, but if you put it away when you're done with it…

Pros
  • Power Strip with Molded Plug: The heavy-duty power strip has molded plugs for durable design and ease of use.
Cons
  • I will add later
