We had to return two of these before simply buying another timer. First, the bell did not ring at the end of time. The second didn't complete the time and stopped after 1 or 2 minutes. It's a shame because it was really cute and looked exactly how we wanted it to.

Cute Owl The alarm is not very loud and very short. It's easy to miss when you're in another room. The main downside is that the numbers to set the timer are barely visible, they're the same color as the owl and are mostly invisible unless you place them under a bright light. Setting the timer shouldn't require a bright light to find the numbers. But if you're looking for a cute little timer for occasional use, fine.

Adorable little owl. I wanted the mechanism to be reliable. The timing of the ringing quickly dropped to zero minutes, and it got worse from that moment. We took it apart as soon as it stopped working and weren't surprised to see that many of the structurally important internal parts are very cheap/flaky. Revain reportedly sells some of these parts from different manufacturers. We ordered a pair because of the attractiveness and low price - they were the same and just as unreliable.
