The first product sent was folded during packaging on the function key resulting in the cover hanging out from the keyboard in the bottom left corner. I then requested a replacement, and the replacement came in with some melted plastic on the S key. It seems that there's a lack of consistency with the product. I'm sure there are some good turnouts from this product, so if you want to try your luck, feel free to. I got unlucky twice and plan to just buy another from a different vendor.

I'm enjoying this more the New i thought I would. I wish it had a little more protection on the bottom. I do like that the area where the apple symbol shows is not complexly open. It has holes in the wood (wood-like?) portion so the light glows through the black plastic and the holes. So the computer dosnt end up having a weird circle of dust accumulate on it. Nope. The printed characters here are just barely off alignment with the backlit characters on the keys. This creates the effect of blurry, partially lit letters that annoy the heck out of me even though I touch-type. I’d rather have no characters printed at all than have them just sliiiightly off from where they ought to be.

I love the look of it and it fits my Macbook Air perfectly. I'm slightly bummed at how quickly the bottom broke from a very slight fall. I don't know if I should even bothering ordering another one.

A good way to keep stuff off your keyboard; however, only the Caps Lock light shines through. So your backlit keys are useless in the dark unless you remove the cover.
