Great price for the Gold Toe brand. I always buy them for my daughter to wear with her school uniform. This time I bought two packs of white. My only complaint is that one pack is whiter than the other. A pack is off-white rather than bright white. They seem to fit a little more.

I bought these for my 9 year old daughter to wear with her uniform but they are too small. I bought this size after reading reviews about the size. Now they are unusable and are in my donation box because we didn't try them on until we returned them.

These socks were great for my daughter's Halloween costume but we will continue to wear them in the future because they are great socks!

Simple braid; 77% cotton, 20% nylon, 3% spandex. I like that the socks hold their shape when removed - they don't stretch like cheaper socks. Like other reviewers, I found the sizing vague, so I'm including the sizes from the Gold Toe label: S = shoe size 3-8.5; Medium = shoe size 9-1.5; Large = shoe size 2-10.5. My daughter wears size 1 shoes and the medium socks fit her perfectly.

So when we opened the 3 pack it looked great... My daughter actually wore them on her June B Jones character day. While it did a great job, I'm not sure how good it is for someone who would wear it in place of their school suit every day. The material is very thin unlike other gold toe socks. Also check out the photo after washing...remember I tumble dry all garments on low to avoid shrinkage. Unfortunately, these socks didn't work. This is amazing! I have four children and socks are always a problem. Too baggy, too small, too thick, too transparent, too easy to puncture, etc. Knee socks are even more uncomfortable. When I looked at them, I was very hesitant because I was afraid that the large size would not be suitable for middle and high school girls with female legs.
