They may work well for less humid environments, but they're terrible for acrylics or watercolors. They are usually made of cardboard and absorb moisture, which distorts the overall picture. If you use thick paint it will crack.

Technically my mistake but I entered an acrylic painting canvas and for some reason this product got mixed up in the results. It had the best price among real kawass, so I bought it without paying enough attention to it. This shouldn't appear in the canvas drawing results, someone should correct every descriptor that made it possible to fit in.

The pad was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition with no defects. I use it to frame watercolor paintings and I like the 11x14 size because I can crop it to something smaller and use it as a background or as a mat. It's not the fanciest support, but it's nice, versatile, and worth the money. Highly recommend for people who like framing their own artwork or photos.
