🖼️ Golden State Art Pack of 50 11x14 Backing Boards Review

I just started using them, they are beautiful and complement my pictures perfectly. I have only given 4 stars as so far I have found 2 out of the packaging that I cannot use on my fished product due to nicks on the finished side of the front mat. I hope I don't find it again. I don't see where to notify the seller so I'm putting them aside for now and hoping for the best. I will buy more. Carpets and a transparent bag for them are very good.

For many years I have ordered all my photo mats from Golden State Art (8x10 - 11x14 - 16x20) all black until I saw some white 11x14 mats with photos at the car museum I thought I would order some . Same quality, well packaged and as with the black photo mats, I've never had a dud, not one. The reassurance I get from ordering Golden State Art products is worth the extra cost and oddly enough if you do your research you will find that this is not the case. . . surcharge! The matches themselves were decent, plastic cases cost maybe less than a dollar for 10 of them, two were incredibly poorly cut, crumpled , slurred when I called to ask about the scent. 10 plastic sleeves. I don't like the feel of plastic cases - they have a weird "ripple" effect, like they're bubbling. I don't know how to explain it. I bought this at the last minute to prepare my client's work and they just didn't have the right professional feel or look for the packaging I was trying to deliver but didn't have time to order anything else. This is just what I needed when I started taking photography more seriously. Cutting both sizes I ordered shows good quality control. The box they come in is perfect for compact storage and protection of blanket sets that you don't use right away. It is important to carefully remove the cellophane covering all the consumables in the box. Acid-free materials are NOT available at my local Michael store.
