Looks solid and sounds good

Solidly built. This driver entered the organ's speaker cabinet. The middle section is usually the one that fades over time in this app. Time will tell how it holds up. The cone is a lot stronger than the driver it replaced so my confidence is pretty high.

Replaced midrange with Mach 2.

After replacing the Mach 2 midrange drivers in my Radio Shack, the vocals from CD DVD movies and concerts really came alive and breathed new life into my old speakers. The midrange drivers sounded like the singer was in the room with you. Great replacement speakers for the money!

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Great midrange, great price, BUT.

Good midrange replacement, great price BUT. The positive/negative terminals have not been marked. There are some good videos on Youtube showing how to determine speaker polarity using a 9 volt battery and two jumpers. Light. They fit perfectly on my Rowe R91 jukebox. The photo shows the results of checking the polarity of my speakers. Don't think they are all the same. Do your own test. Would give them 5 stars if polarity was observed.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Volume

Better than expected.

This is the only 4" heavy magnet closed midrange driver I could find on Revain so I bought two 800Hz free resonance and one 13kHz tweeter, which means I didn't set the crossover to 6dB 1500Hz and it works fine at high enough volume with no distortion other than nasty spikes/pits at 3kHz. But you can't HEAR it. This is only evident when analyzing the dynamics. It was connected in parallel with a 10k 6dB crossover piezo through a 30 ohm resistor and this combination produces a FLAT response. Nice

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Sounds good in a component subwoofer

A midrange speaker with a very good sound for the price. I'm using them as a spare in a set of JBL Radiance R103s that are falling apart. I kept the standard tweeter and replaced the woofer with a 10-inch GRS 10-PR 8 woofer (which costs less than $20). Goldwood speakers are made with good big magnets and quality materials. With my Nikko NA they sound very clean. -2000. No distortion that I can detect. My only complaint is that the wires from the voice coil are exposed and very sloppily glued to

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • weak

Worked for Old Radio Cabinet Rehab

Hard to find something this size with an 8 ohm impedance at a price that fits the budget of this particular project. Used these to fill the existing speaker holes in the front of an abandoned and gutted 1960's Magnavox radio cabinet that was discarded by a neighbor (it received new legs with reinforced brackets, speaker grille fabric, paint and front panel design was replicated) . on the back) - no speakers - as it was just a piece of plywood as it had to stand against the wall but I wanted to…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Zero
