Well, it's authentic. It looks like brown henna. I was hoping to get a black or even red tint. tips. Make sure you are not allergic to the henna test patch. Moisturize your skin before applying henna. Leave the henna pattern on for 45 minutes until it crumbles. 2 or 3 weeks depending on skin and care. Don't cut off the end. Tubes have never been used but they worked great and the color was beautiful. Mine lasted on my arm for about a week (I didn't try to keep it in place) and longer on my belly button. It darkened slightly within 24 hours of removing the crust. The photo shows the color when first peeled off (lighter) and the color the next day (darker). I made about 8 simple single tube designs.

This is the first time I've tried cone henna so I'm not very good at it but the color is a nice dark brown and the price is great. I made a mistake by cutting off the tip, although it was a very small cut the henna came out clumpy and thick in places. With so many skittles in my bag I can practice a lot. And the smell is pleasant. I grew up with henna in Africa and also in India when I was young and the smell takes me back to those good times.
