This was the first time I've used a wind reducing product on my GoPro and considering it's a piece of GoPro shaped foam I had quite a bit low expectations. This product has worked amazingly well. I picked up my GoPro on a very windy day and it cut almost all of the wind noise out of the audio. I was a bit shocked at how well it worked. I'm wondering if I'm just over the moon with my low expectations or what, but either way it works great for my GoPro Hero 3 BE sound.

First, the cutout for the lens was literally pierced twice so it's shaped like a figure eight. 🤦🏼‍♂️Functionally, it's a cheap piece of foam that blocks light breezes. I bought to mount a camera on a motorcycle helmet's chin mount. I had to add my own windbreaker to cover the mic to keep the wind from hitting it directly as this product doesn't help much with wind noise. Fits great except for the poorly made neckline. all i have to say about it.

item looks ok. It goes well with my Hero 3+ black (handheld without case). But why should I hold a GoPro camera in my hands? I bought a used camera and wasn't familiar enough with it to know that this item would not fit over the camera when placed in the GoPro's clear plastic protective sleeve (known as a case). windshield. only fits on the camera itself or on the camera in the "frame".
