Worked great - CRF450X

Worked great on my 2012 CRF 450X enduro mod. Buy a boot for it to protect the wires, a complete rip off for the price but you have to spend $8 .

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Fits right on my master cylinder bolt.

Works great. Used it on a KX450F to install a rear brake light switch. Is installed on the front brake master cylinder, as there is no space on the rear master brake cylinder due to the frame.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Minor issues

Perfect for bikes and weightlifting

My derailleur cables on my 2012 CRF 450x were burned, broken and grounded to my stoplight muffler. I tried remounting but the old switch was disconnected. This switch fits perfectly.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Does NOT come with washers and electrical connectors!

Does NOT include washers and electrical connectors. For the price this had to include both and overpriced which I also had to buy extra to hide the wires. I was supposed to get 7€ on ebay including everything and free shipping.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Upgradeable

So far, so good! - Parts

I've been looking at a few of these switches and they all seemed to have negative reviews about not working. I've been using the derailleur for a few months now and have ridden 1000 miles with no problems. I have an 05 r1 and the exhaust is literally less than 1+ from the back of this derailleur and holds heat well. I also recommend buying a silicone case for it.

Pros
  • Grand Prize
Cons
  • Crumpled

Doesn't come with pucks.

Maybe some don't come with some? Not sure, conflicting posts in reviews. I didn't have any sealing washers. I will update the review after installation, it will probably work. Installed on the front brake system. The last time I installed a rear brake on my Dual Sport the one thing that killed me the most was going down a steep hill when it failed and I lost all pressure. If installing on a dirt or dual sport bike, I recommend installing on a less critical front end system.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Doubts

ABSOLUTELY TRASH! Parts are missing and not working!

This thing is garbage. Not only was the parts missing (a crushed gasket), it also didn't work. I've installed these brake light actuators many times, but I usually just buy the cheap $7 ones. They last like a few years. Thought I'd buy this one which is a bit more expensive and might last longer. nope This piece of junk died instantly. Unfortunately, I didn't bother to open it until Revain's return window closed. I will never buy from this company again. Well it's a joke!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Fits my 2005 Honda CRF250X like a glove.

Was pretty easy to install. Complete with copper washers and electrical wire connectors. Good quality. Remove the old banjo bolt. Install this banjo bolt. Pump the brakes. A wire built into your circuit. wiring example. Your brake light should have 2 wires. negative (-) wire goes directly to ground or (-) to battery -> positive (+) wire connects to one of the terminals on this switch (it doesn't matter which) -> second terminal connects to positive (+) on your battery. Did. Now when the…
