I was looking for a replacement for an old Goody faux wood brush with firm bristles. The shape and size of this brush is similar, but the bristles are different. This brush has ball tips on the bristles and is not the same as shown in the picture. The listing shows a volume brush completely encased in plastic. However, the brush itself had packaging that said "Vent & Dry", the packaging was open (not included), some of the bristles were bent as a result and the bristles had rounded tips…

Personally they hurt a lot when I comb my hair but my mom LOVES them, she uses them every day, she used her last one until all the bristles were gone and then she was so sad I bought her 2 more so definitely worth it for the price I think if you like that kind of brushes lol

This should be the same item I ordered previously. Unfortunately it isn't. The packaging is different than before and not the same as the picture in the ad. Instead of molded bristle tips, these tips have an inferior hard coating that the bristles are dipped into, which will eventually break and fall off. This leaves sharp bristle tips that cause pain and discomfort when brushing. The shaped bristle tips never break and never cause pain or discomfort. I have no idea why this is not the product…
