Bought to hold an iPad while I play the drums. The ball joint that connects the part that holds the tablet does not stay connected. Also, the iPad is too heavy for it and the stand can fall forward when using the gooseneck.

Assembling the tablet floor stand was quite difficult. When one area is screwed, the other area is unscrewed. It doesn't stand very well on the carpet, it sways, although a couple of books on the stand helped. To use the gooseneck you really need to hold it with one hand while moving the neck to the desired position. It wasn't very expensive and will work. It just needed better technique.

The stand was perfect for my needs, but due to poor quality control and workmanship the stand was unusable as the bottom of the stand could not be screwed into the base plate (the screw was partially torn off). Therefore, the stand could not stand upright, but simply fell to the ground. Sent back to seller.

i like the idea, the frame is too heavy and it tips over very easily, i am 83 years old and i do NOT find it user friendly, the gooseneck is too stiff and difficult to manipulate, i think most people using this will either be elderly or bedridden and you don't need to make it too heavy and crooked. I would return it but it was a gift and I can't use it so it will be in the closet.
