Best Mitten Gloves Ever

These are by far the warmest gloves I have ever owned. I used them on a multi-day snowmobile trip a few weeks ago and they worked flawlessly. I'm considering buying a few more pairs so I have a spare when the first pair wears out.

Pros
  • Convenience Item
Cons
  • Long Shipping

Good price: Accessories

So far, so good. I've been skiing with them 4-5 times. Comfortable and warm. But there have never been temperatures below 15 degrees. I just wish the glove was a little longer and it had a liner, but for the price it's a great glove.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Worth every penny.: Accessories

These things take precedence! Very warm and I love the bracelets. FINALLY I have good belts that I trust when climbing. The hybrid design is functional and the little extras make it worth buying (nose pads, palm zippers, etc.). These babies are legal. I've been driving to work in the snow for 5/12 months, walking my dogs, skiing and being outdoors a lot and they are perfect for everything. Dig them up, lots of them.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Expandable

Inside 5 fingers, no trigger, glove.

For some reason the inside of the glove separates your fingers like it's a regular five finger glove. This completely defeats the purpose of the trigger glove. The mitten area is designed to keep your fingers in contact, sharing heat and creating a large pocket of warm air. A totally misleading design that is not at all as warm as a REAL trigger glove.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • So-so

Strange sizes of gloves and mittens

I tried very hard to please these mittens. I'm 6ft 2in and have decent hands. I tried the XL size first and felt they didn't fit me. Also, the palm pad didn't come close to the size of my real palm. So I returned. her and received XXL. Now the XXL finger holes are too long and the palm rest still doesn't fit my real palm. I think this company either needs better quality control or better glove design. I will return to the tried and true Burton Mittens.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Excellent glove protection in extreme cold

I was curious but weighed the reviews (and price versus highly rated gloves that cost about $100 more) for my use and was very pleased . In February I went Aurora hunting in Fairbanks (it was -30C at night) and used bags to warm my hands. Good work. I had to take my gloves off for a bit to get used to the camera setup, but it really helped warm me up. Definitely recommend trying it out (for the price) if finger configuration doesn't matter too much if you have to use it!

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Can't remember

Haven't worn gloves or mittens yet

Just received for an upcoming ski trip to Whistler and then Whitefish. This will be my second pair and I really like the ones I have except the heat pocket is too small and one zipper is broken but I rarely use heat packs. This Stormtrooper is a bit different from my others and although the size designation (L) seems to be slightly smaller in height, length and width. Let's see if that has an effect on maintaining hand warmth. This is a very nice mitten and the heat pouch pocket seems adequate…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Nothing wrong with that, everything is fine

Great gloves for mittens

These are great gloves if you get cold hands while wearing gloves. I bought three finger mittens and regular mittens to replace some of the Cabelas Gore-Tex gloves which kept my fingers very cold in 20 degree weather. These three finger mittens are perfect. I used them for skiing in 10 degree weather and had roasted hands all day. I was afraid my index finger would get cold but that didn't happen due to the way they are made. I ended up returning the full mittens as those three finger mittens…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some flaws
