After I've used this remote about 3 or 4 times, it doesn't send a signal to the TV. I have to remove the batteries from the remote and put it back in to somehow reset it And then I hope it works.

Fits my Onkyo receiver. I had to make a small change. The battery compartment is a bit big. This allowed the batteries to be disconnected. I fixed it by putting a small piece of styrofoam on the "door" of the compartment.

Does what it promises. Personally, I haven't experienced remotes that "suddenly turn off" in a few months, so maybe I was lucky in that regard. Otherwise it works great with my Onkyo receiver and that's all I really wanted. Product, the buttons are a little soft but really not bad for a generic replacement.

Received this remote when my original remote for the TX-SR604 receiver started having problems. Some keys had to be pressed multiple times. When I got my regular replacement remote, I put the batteries in, pointed it at the receiver and pressed the buttons. Everything worked the first time and now I don't have to get up to change the input on the receiver. Great replacement. If you need a replacement remote control for your TX-SR604, you should get one.

I bought a new Gorilla Babo universal remote to replace my original remote for my Onkyo HT-R530 receiver. The buttons on my original Onkyo remote stopped working after years of use.
