I bought a new Gorilla Babo universal remote to replace my original remote for my Onkyo HT-R530 receiver. The buttons on my original Onkyo remote stopped working after years of use. The new Gorilla Babo remote worked great. Requires no programming or configuration. The only problem I had was the batteries partially falling out of the battery compartment. At first I thought the remote would stop working, only to find that the batteries had moved away from the battery terminals. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that there is a lot of extra space in the cover over the battery compartment, which made it possible to move the batteries away from the contacts. Typically, the battery cover is used to protect the batteries from movement. The simple solution was to put a small piece of styrofoam between the batteries and the cover.
