I received a set of these to make a prosthetic leg. It turned out very well! While the calf is definitely larger than the forearm, the pattern stayed true and didn't look too faded despite stretching out quite a bit. Good quality!

I don't have firing arms and these reach comfortably from wrist to shoulder. Had great fun with them. The downside is that most women wouldn't wear half of it, including the "girly pin-up". Being essentially stockings, they also walk. Make sure you wear something thick around your wrist or it will look fake. Also pay attention to the skin tone. I'm very fair so anything that was pink looked fake.

So much fun! People actually think they're tattoos, plus they protect my husband's hands from the sun. we love them and they are comfortable.

UPDATE May 18, 2020 (upgraded to 5 stars): Have bought these a few times over the past few years. They wear out, but not too quickly. I use them A LOT for cycling. I shower with them and my high quality kits. They need to be replaced from time to time, but they do a good job. I love these bike sleeves. In fact, these are patterned stockings designed for hands. Yes, men can wear stockings too :) They offer some protection from the sun but are see-through. I don't think they're a perfect fit for anyone. The elastic band may be too tight for thicker arms, and the sleeve itself can be pulled up on thin arms or children. Arrived a day later than stated. It was ok as they were still on time. However, this is the only thing that went well. These sleeves advertised as adults would not even fit my teenager. The upper gums resembled a tourniquet, that's how tight they were. All of them. One even started tearing at the seam of the elastic just as he was putting it on. So I'm pretty sure my 68 year old dad is going through a mid life crisis for a while now that he owns two Harleys and is becoming a motorcyclist.
