serves its purpose, good for the kitchen and dining room

That's it, a plastic oiler. It is cheap and serves its purpose, what should I say in a review. I like the flat top of the plate when I want to put something on the butter shelf (sometimes I stuff cheese in the butter shelf and the rounded dome or little handle on the lid won't let me. This one works because it's flat on top and rather out of the way Plastic than glass or porcelain so I don't have to worry about dropping it, that's what it is.

Acrylic Oil Can

This oil can is exactly the same one I've had for years and I needed a new one. Nobody sells plastic oilers in stores anymore, and who needs a heavy, slippery glass oiler? When I saw this, I realized that we need this, and it IS! It's perfect for a stick (1/4 lb) of butter and is easy to use and dishwasher safe. Clear, unbreakable oilers are ideal for everyday use

These ACRYLIC BUTTER DISHES are not particularly elegant and would look a bit out of place on a fine china table, but they are great for everyday use. I like them for two reasons: (1) they are transparent so you can see how much oil is left (unlike metal cans which hide their contents); and (2) they are nearly unbreakable (unlike glass oilers, which shatter if dropped).
