Review on GOV Acrylic Plastic Butter Dish by Brandon Barrett

These ACRYLIC BUTTER DISHES are not particularly elegant and would look a bit out of place on a fine china table, but they are great for everyday use. I like them for two reasons: (1) they are transparent so you can see how much oil is left (unlike metal cans which hide their contents); and (2) they are nearly unbreakable (unlike glass oilers, which shatter if dropped). Acrylic plastic lubricators are dishwasher safe (top rack). Over time the plastic will cloudy and eventually crack, but in my experience the cookware lasts a couple of years. No acrylic glass can withstand the temperature of washing-up liquid and hot water forever. I buy replacement Revain supplies because my local grocery and hardware stores only sell these supplies from time to time - and never seem to have them on hand when I need new ones.
