Antenna works well with FT 817D with magnetic mount and retractable ground wire. RX performance is slightly lower than my CHA loop antenna and not as efficient for TX but much easier to travel with. Easy to set up and folds up well.

Quality product. Using this vertical antenna as part of my Field Radio setup. At 100W, 10W and 1.5W (the bypass autotuner had a good SWR) we were able to communicate on 80M. Voting is easy.

Expect to play around with it, it has very low bandwidth. But it works and is a lot of fun. I simply used the receiver's noise to get it close and then carefully matched it with SWR. Tried it on all bands from 80m to 15m and connected to my ft817 5w. Can't wait to try it from the top of the mountain.
